No hate here fellas... I give props where they are due  ..Silsbee is tough year in and year out ..their chemistry and them buying in to what their coach wants is exceptional ..they’re one of the best teams in the enTire GHA when it comes to toughness chemistry and buying in ...

All Silsbee fans don’t think you hate!! You speaking facts and how you feel me for one I say lace them up go and battle win or lose take something from game. This team will be fine they will make a run when the time counts. I’m kinda glad they haven’t started off excellent give them young guys something to work for and keeps them level headed. With hard work and unselfish play we could very well be looking at another title but that’s a long ways from now

I don’t feel anyone is reall making an excuse for losing these games.  Facts are we don’t have our whole team and we play a tough schedule.  We will lose some and may win some we shouldn’t without the football players but we will take either and continue to get better for the important part of the season.  We probably won’t be starting to truly see what we have until around New Years.

With that said we have what should be another very god team but we have some holes to fill and see who steps up and fills those holes of the graduates.  Each had their roles last year

Bruce & Calvin the sparks on defense and licking down the opponents big threats.

Trajan with his scoring and shooting.  Knocking down the 4 biggest fts in Silsbee b-ball history.

Michael with his grittiness and ability to make plays down low with the big guys.

Willie the big guy inside..his rebounding, toughness and size down low also giving us a true big down low and some dept there.

And Thomas leading the cheers from the  bench.

we have one player who missed the playoffs who will fill some of those voids but we have to find out who else is going to step up beforewe truly find out just how good this team will be.

The players that Silsbee  has on the floor now are solid. I think with what they have now minus the football players they are  capable of making it to the regional finals. More than likely with Yates who are a lot better than they were last year. With Silsbee’s current team minus the football players yates would be favored. I’m ready to see what Silsbee looks like full squad.

That full squad may be as early as next week, but you probably won’t really see us at full strength until about January when they get some time on the court and in basketball shape.

The only 4A team that will beat Silsbee is Silsbee.  If they play as a team, there is no reason they shouldn’t repeat.  And no dumb crap.   Worry about you and your team and there is nothing the other guys can do about it.
