The one thing I don't understand about earned and unearned runs is this. Reddick gets on via a base hit.  He scores after an error by the pitcher.  If the pitcher commits the error, this should be an earned run. The pitcher is rewarded statistically by his ERA not going up.  Just something I don't get.

Why would Joe Buck question whether or not a pitcher is finished when the coaches have made their second trip in one inning?  Also, he didn't explain the infield fly rule correctly.  He never said there had to be less than two out.  Do not like him at all!

Springer thought that was a Grand Slam.  400+ foot out ends the inning and leaves bases loaded

It's amazing how many otherwise knowledgeable baseball people there are that don't know the infield fly rule.  Had a fellow fan at a game correcting me on it - wrong, but I just let it go.
