I think Matthews is a very good coach, and based on my limited contact, a great man.  I do think you've lost most of your credibility when you question Johnson's ability as QB (D1 schools disagree with you) and post Vidor 42 PNG 6.  I'd love to see it, but that's not even remotely being realistic.

I sure would like to meet you after the game so I can put a face to the stupidity! your sources obviously must be female and not know nothing about high school Ball, just saying, no offense  to the females on this board that back the NDNs, I know yall know football lol

well with him being a tiger fan it is obvious he has no real football I.Q. not to mention saying RJ isn't smart, isn't a leader, whatever probably some waterboy  with a hunger to be heard. But in reality he is just making himself look like and A$$, with dumb in front of it . Oh my bad did I say that. oops

Lol, and I thought me and you had a truce.  I got it - you were after Tiger dude and I got hit with friendly fire. :)

Why would you say that how did you get hit with friendly fire lol

When you quoted an hour ago, you meant to use Tigers quote, but you quoted me.  I knew who your response was directed at.  That's what NDNation was referring to.  Done it before.  Meant to respond to a quote and get the wrong one.  It's all good, except Tiger might not get to read your opinion of him lol.

This was my quote you responded to.  I was responding to Tiger.

I meant to copy his talking about 42-6 and well you get the point it wasn't you, lol

No worries mate.  If that's the biggest mistake you've made today, it's been a good day.  I did pretty much agree with your response.

Awesome Post! You even spelled all the words correctly! You must work for MSNBC. I like the way you took the Quirante comment totally out context. I simply made a statement that he’s the last one left and is a good athlete. As opposed to y’all making Riggs out to be Jerry Rice.  Wish we were more balanced on offense but this is the offense Matthews wants to run. By the way I don’t think Matthews thinks his players are stupid. Did you know that Navy runs this same offense. I promise you that you don’t get into the Naval Academy being stupid. There 5-1 with that 1950’s offense. I doubt Navy’s coach thinks that his players are stupid. We are well aware that we are the underdog. But the kids play for the Love of the game and they will leave it all on the field this Friday. Have a nice day Mr. All Knowing!

This forum confuses me sometimes: I see people get ridiculed on this site when they use poor grammar or spelling. Now you're making fun of me for using proper grammar and spelling. So...thanks for the compliment? I'm sorry my writing style and use of examples from recent history to support my opinions seems to have offended you. Blame my teachers at PNG if it bothers you.

Not offended at all. Just being facetious about the spelling...relax.  I am definitely not an English Major myself. Just trying to set the record straight about your post. Your entitled to your own distorted opinion. Keep on Trucking!

Predictions:

1. Vidor will not cut the grass at the Cow Pasture aka Ivan Croak Field at Pirate Stadium.  The grass will be more than ankle deep and it will take the Indians two or three drives to figure out the slow footing.  I hope we bring multiple sets of shoes. The Indians may need the mudders or the long cleats depending upon the weather.

2. Vidor will have a Quirante on the roster.  As long as he doesn't play QB and MLB, the Indians should survive.

3. Coach Matthews will come out to midfield and argue that the forward pass is an illegal procedure.  Teams are only allowed to line up in the wing-T and run the ball.

4. The Indians will survive a close contest in Vidor.  The Pirates get amped for the Mid-County teams and they play PN-G and nederland tough year-in and year-out.  The PN-G defense will make a few stops and secure the W.

Go Indians.  Peace.

Oh please on #1.  I've heard from to many reliable (?)) PNG posters that Ned wets down the field when y'all play there.  Actually, I did hear Coach Matthews has installed some trip wires, so if Riggs falls down a bunch just as he clears the DB, don't blame him.  I understand #2.  #3, Coach Matthews is right.  Today the Vidor Cith Council made it against the law to throw a forward pass in the City Limits.  Based on my response to #1 & 3, PNG is doomed :)

Gotta love HS football.
