Atheist do not trust atheist

Several things are worthy of note about this study. First and foremost, the name of the study reveals the researchers’ discomfort with the results: “Global evidence of extreme intuitive moral prejudice against atheists.” The authors clearly believe the assumption that people who don’t believe in God are far more likely to be serial murders, child molesters, and animal torturers (some of the examples used by the researchers) is a “prejudice,” an ungrounded, misguided, and irrational error that blinds its adherents—including atheists themselves—to the truth. Allow me to quote the summary of the study, which most succinctly states both the results and the researchers’ discomfort with them.

Imo, we only have to look at our country to see the proof of this.  As the percentage of Christians drops, the immorality rises.  I'm not trying to start a big debate, nor am I condemning anyone's lifestyle, just looking at morals from my viewpoint as a Christian.  In 1963 when prayer was taken out of schools, the atheist, empowered by that victory, have been non stop in their attacks on religion in general (except Islam) and Christianity in particular.  What have been the results?  Drug use has gone through the roof.  We're killing unborn babies by the millions.  Homosexuals are marrying.  Divorce rate is 50%.  Euthanasia is legal in 6 states and in DC.  Pornography is on every iPhone, iPad, computer, and in a few short years, nudity will be on our regular TV channels.  Etc. Etc. Etc.  To a simple country soul like myself, this is a simple example of cause and effect.

Am I saying Christians are perfect?  Heck no, but based on the evidence, as a group, they have higher moral standards than atheist.  The atheist has no moral obligation that I can see, except possibly to society, and if society is swimming in the toilet, that's not much.  Jmo
