This wasn't a playoff game.  It was a district double header which became necessary when Kirbyville's game with Bob Hope in Port Arthur earlier in the season was postponed due to some sort of issue with the field.

Bob Hope did not qualify for the playoffs.

ah ok thanks.  Yea I heard the issue was he field was not ready and they had a tiller on the field.  Refs would not allow them to play for safety concerns because the field was in such bad shape.
