UFO's - The Truth is Out There

Okay, so I lose some credibility being a believer in UFO's.  It's okay because the math is on my side.  According to scientist (not them bought off GWarming types) there are more stars in the universe than grains of sand in all the worlds beaches.  Think about that.  That's a number so great, it'd take you 10 years to put all the 000's in it (if then).  Simple math will tell you odds are there are more advanced civilizations than us.  Matter of fact, I'd hate to think we're at the top, because we're not exemplary.  So this is a good thread to put all these good sightings.  And you non-believers check in ever so often.  You might learn something, or at least get a good laugh.

This is a good one, because I don't ever remember seeing something like this before.  There are multiple witnesses which adds credence to the sighting/pictures.  From El Paso - Weird.

Unusual, for there's another event.  This one from the ISS (International Space Station), which conveniently cuts its feed every time something like this shows up.  Appears to be a giant mothership, as they say in the Sci Fi classics.

Hey, I was great in math until they bred it with English.  Saying A + B = ? drives my 2+ 2 mind crazy.  Btw, I was disturbed recently when watching Ch 6 Challenge - two schools vying against each other on questions.  Each school has 3 of their brightest on a team.  The question was:  if a salesman makes 15% on a sale, and he sells something for $1500, how much did the salesman make?  I had $225 in about 5 sec (10% 150 + half 75=225).  All students had pencil and paper.  One school said $100, then the other $125.  I'm thinking, unbelievable.  Then it dawned on me, these kids are use to using calculators.  Sadly, no one ever taught them a few basic shortcuts - 10% drop the last zero.  I'm thinking maybe six weeks of doing math without a calculator might be a good thing lol.

Btw, A + B = Duh :)

People seeing UFO's everywhere, so this couple (?) wrote a book.  Nothing dramatized, just the facts, and statements from eyewitnesses.

Interesting read. Remember, if a UFO lands and beings disembark, they will call it a FO because they know what it is. Lol

Hope the Aliens don't have a preconceived notion of what FO stands far.  They might come out packing :)

People seeing more aliens , but more people are on drugs to. Just saying

Given this some more thought.  What a conundrum.  I'd love to see a UFO, but I don't do drugs.  In my younger days, did overindulge in alcohol occasionally, but all I saw was my hands on the floor, and figured my knees would follow :)

Perhaps someday before I die, I'll get me a handful of Oxy with a bottle of Jack, and I to will see a UFO lol

I've posted about Japan Flight 1628 before.  To my knowledge, the only sighting with an eyewitness and radar confirmation simultaneously.  John Callahan was the lead investigator, and in this video he's addressing the National Press Club in Washington in May, 2001.  He was one of approx ten speakers from Govt and Military men who made disclosures on UFO's at this meeting.

    • It would shock me beyond belief if he tried to. Now, I hope and pray he appoints people that will investigate, charge, and imprison anyone found guilty of the crimes against him...including treason. I would be all for a special task force charge solely with the task of investigating crimes against Trump. Of course the Democrats will be screaming bloody murder that Trump is weaponizing the government against them. We all know the story. From a cursory standpoint, there seems to be a plethora of evidence to lock up many Democrats for a long time. Unless this is done, I see no end to destruction of our political system...and this country.
    • There is a difference, but I wouldn't at all put it past Trump to do so if he had the infrastructure in place to get away with it like the Dems currently do.  With the amount of effort he's invested in ruining those republicans who've opposed him, it wouldn't surprise me one bit.
    • I think it will be an interesting case and could potentially come up for appeal on a different constitutional point.  The Supreme Court has ruled in the past that the government doesn’t have to take possession of property in order to take it under the meaning of the Fifth Amendment.  If they take away the enjoyment or use of the property, it is no different than physically seizing it to build a highway for example. In a lawsuit as opposed to a criminal trial, a person/plaintiff doesn’t have to prove something beyond a reasonable doubt but rather by a preponderance of evidence or “more likely” to have happened. Maybe it could be described as more likely yes than no or 51%-49%.  ”IF” it can be shown at a trial by a preponderance of evidence that Texas more likely yes than no caused the flooding with its engineering of the project, the people suing might have a case. But…. Does that alone win the case under the Fifth Amendment taking clause? I am not so sure. In US v Causby the Supreme Court ruled that the US government took a man’s property by flying airplanes over it. It was a public airport lawfully leased by the US in WWII and used to fly heavy bombers from it. Causby had an egg farm and the extremely loud noise of some airplanes under full power and sometimes at night with a landing lights being so close, it bothered and scared the family and damaged his egg farm production. Some chickens died and some quit laying eggs due to the extreme disturbances and lights at night. The Supreme Court ruled in Causby’s favor saying that the US had taken away the enjoyment and use of his land even though they didn’t physically seize it. The use of the land was hampered and that was enough for the taking clause under the Fifth Amendment. So in the IH-10 case, did Texas take away the use or enjoyment of the property?  A point of Causby was that the military bombers at a public airport was certainly for “public use”. The planes were public/taxpayers’ and the airport and lease were taxpayers’ property so the “public” definitely used it   My question in this lawsuit against Texas, even in they can prove the damage, was the damage (like in Causby) for “public use”? If not would it then not be a Fifth Amendment case but rather a state law case?  If Texas law denies such a lawsuit under state sovereignty and the families can’t prove a Fifth Amendment case of “public use”, could they prove the damages but still lose the case under state law? I haven’t read that anywhere and just thinking out loud. I could be way off base. But I think it could be interesting…..
    • Both sides...that is, everyone tries to get their people elected. Trump has not weaponized the government to bankrupt and imprison his political opponents. Night and day difference for me.
    • Surely you're aware of the great lengths Trump has gone to disrupt the elections and destroy the careers of republican politicians who haven't supported some of his most outlandish claims, or dared to question him or disagree with him about January 6.  You and I actually agree on this issue, although it must only go one way for you, because Trump's actions against republicans who didn't fall into lockstep with him is one of my biggest concerns about reelecting him.  The fact that he took action to affect literally hundreds of republican primaries from national elections down to municipal levels across the country, is concerning. It would've been one thing had he done it in an effort to help republicans win. Instead his purpose was to push out his perceived detractors and install MAGA politicians at every level of government in as many places as possible, and has resulted in a fractured republican party.
