That True freshman QB has cost you 2 games with those intangibles.  In his defense he was concussed at the end of both games and his coach kept running him out there.  At least they have a preseason Heisman favorite to trot out there for Baylor this week.

Where in the Hell are you at UT Fanatic and Hoops, I am sitting here defending your honor against the Cult that is Aggieland, and there is not a Longhorn in sight....HAHA I kid.

I agree with Mack.  Aggies are the come up.  They showed a lot of heart in those come from behind wins over Nicholls and ULaLa.  I say give that Sumblin another extension!

Incorrect, he didn't cost "me" anything. I am not a player, coach, or invested fan. But, That True Freshman was the reason THEY were even in OT. He started slow, as it was his first start, but was tremendous in the 2nd half of that USC game...on the road...in the Coliseum...against a program like that....took some balls. The Oklahoma State OT gaffe was confusing. I still do not know what he was trying to do there.

You can try to knock the QB and Herman all you want, Aggie would buy out Sumlin, bench THEIR guy, and happily have both those guys over in Austin, and we both know it. I can tell by your responses you have an overwhelming bias. I expect that, because you are an Aggie Alumni or fanatic. I support you, supporting your team. But c'mon. You can not honestly believe Aggie is in a better spot for the future than Texas.

A&M’s strength of schedule is #36.  Texas is 55.

5-2 against a tougher schedule is better than 3-4 no matter how you slice it.

A&M’s defense has been playing a lot better.  We start our own true freshman QB that is improving each game.  18 other true freshman play significant minutes each week.  This year has probably been Sumlin’s best coaching job to date with all of the young guys rotating in.  The main thing I have noticed is that the team hasn’t quit late in games like they have in the past.  Hopefully they can keep it up.

Man, that is "Remaining Strength of Schedule". Texas already played Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and USC that is not being factored in. See a more accurate ranking system that ranks the schedule for the year, up to the date. Check my link above and tell me about it. Texas #4 Toughest schedule in the country to Aggie #37...SMH.

No, no.  Nicholls St and ULaLa are quality wins!   Aggy propagandists can find something anywhere to make them feel better.  Except championships.  None were alive for those.

And then from one of the most respected handicappers in the biz

Weak nonconference schedule and a conference everyone in the country is on to except the mouth breathers actually in it.  Let them live in their little bubble I say.  And while we’re at it, extension for the drunk stumbler!

Holton Hill suspended for season.  Next man up.   Not sure how costly this will be for Hill - latest projections have shown him to be a Top 10 pick.  Could drop for disciplinary issues.  That makes two top 10 draft picks on our roster unavailable (Hill along with Connor Williams).  Jefferson the only first rounder suiting up at this point.

I'd never heard of Holton Hill.  I don't keep up with football except the Texans.  Then I watched a recording of the UT game  where Hill scored on 2 pick sixs.  The fumble recovery for a td may have been in the same game.  So I know who he is.   Now this happens, whatever this is.  Is it co-ed related?  Who knows?

Tom Herman got that 6 mil mansion much too soon.  He is a snake oil sales man, but in that profession you have to be to some extent.  I hope he can turn it all around.  That Texas job is no joke.

Any chance any of these three come back?

Doubtful.   Malik is a wildcard because he loves Austin and is a different kind of kid.  Assuming Connor will still project Top 5 or even 10 as most are saying, he’s gotta get that money, which given he’s missed the season injured, I’m sure is even amplified. I don’t know for sure but you have to think Hill isn’t the biggest Herman fan right now.  Guessing he’s gone.
