The Hill has always played us tough, with the new coach it might make all the difference in the world, but he cant tackle RJ they will have to do that on their on. Should be an interesting night.

This is the one matchup I think can go either way out of the 4...

BH has had the luxury of playing against 4 dual threat QBs in their district so I think they will be ready! Should be a good football atmosphere ...  Good luck to both squads.

This sophomore you talk about, I promise you if he touches ball and goes on 22 side look out!

Well aware of #22. This RB is pretty dang good himself. That's why I said it's going to be some pretty good collisions up the middle. Kid runs hard and deceptive speed. Spencer Long is the kids name.

Barbers Hill still basing their opinions of 22-5A based on the Vidor debacle during the first game.

PNG by 17

McZeal being out will hurt because he demands so much attention from the defense but Hughes can be replaced easily. RJ is their running game.

Go NDNS (puke)

PNG is deep on receivers I hate that McZeal has to miss it but should not lose a beat on the passing game....rb position should not be a big issue we have a sophomore rb that is flat out speed

Injury? He came back in after he appeared to hurt his hand.

He made some good catches after he came back in. Not sure why he would be out now. I guess if you're going  to the next level, it's not worth further injury. Thats just me guessing though. Or maybe it was more of a serious injury than they thought.

obviously it is he isn't playing lol, so who is this sophomore rb that is supposed to take up where Hughes left off. I hope it isn't #19 he is lacking in size, hate to see him get manhandled like ozen did. WE need someone to step in , love seeing Lejune working offense as a blocker, but we do need a rb to take the load off of RJ.

I assume you are talking about lil jaylin. He has decent speed and good moves but he is smallish and I worry about fumbles and him getting brought down by arm tackles. We shall see though as it looks like his chance is here. Wasn't the SR rb on this team?

Regardless of who plays for both sides this will be a great matchup.......  Both schools support there teams and kids better than lots of schools around.  Should be a large crowd on hand for this game.

The hill is dismissing early so the buses can get all the runs in. Expect a huge crowd from the hill!

    • Poster I guess forgot about 2022 Port Arthur Memorial as well. (3rd round lost was to Longview who won Region 2). And last year that 1st round game was against Forney who won Region 2 as well.
    • FBM made it to the 4th round in 22-23. If that’s “weak,” I don’t know what “strong” is.
