Drones

Does anyone know of anyone who owns a drone and has  used it to help a local SETX football program during practice?  What schools use drones? I would also be interested in hearing people's opinions on drones and their place in high school football.

Saw Liberty band had a drone filming their half time show, pretty good idea if you ask me.

I've seen drones at several games this season. The Lumberton and PAM games for sure. Not sure if its the media or someones personal drone.

PNG uses a drone during practice.

Seems that they are not permitted except during practices.

PAM. You didn't the drone flying around the stands and band before the PNG game?

Drones are not permitted at games, period.  Doesn't matter what if it's before, during halftime or after.  That was the word directly from the UIL when we inquired about it.

We were told it doesn't matter WHO it is "for".  Drones aren't permitted AT the games.  I'm just saying that is what the UIL told us.  I think I'll go back and ask now....

it was one at the PAM vs PNG and the crowds loved it. Our band also use a drone during halftime. but you dont see it. it flys above the pressbox only.

You have 11 days to clone 10 of him. If that fails, just do like some teams have resorted to. Call the U.I.L.  It seems to be the norm these days. (you'll get that one in the morning)

Barbers Hill used one for practices and then one day the brought into the indoor facility and someone flew into the wall. It broke into a thousand pieces and $2,500 down the drain. Lol

Nah ranchhand, fox and others like those two that  insinuate ALL THE TIME. It just gets old. Heck, I'd respect them MORE if they'd just type it out instead of trying to form a coalition. Sad! I don't know what schools they supports though.

Don't see what difference it makes being that schools film every game from the sideline anyhow. I guess it just gives them a better view from the air.
