Don't take them lightly, but line blocking and overall defense has came a long way..   clean up some things, connect on some passes, and we'll be ready...

Shadow Creek is a bunch of kids that would normally go to Manvel. I wouldn't look at them as a get right game just because the don't have seniors. They'll be young but they'll still be those Manvel/Pearland level athletes.

Right. Also, they are mostly freshmen and sophomores with some junior transfers. It's my understanding that about 15% of the varsity team are juniors.

This kid died in the hospital.  The WO-S kid died on the field, I think...

 

Did anyone know that Shadow Creek is 3-1?

Not KIPP (although 1 victory was over 1-3 KIPP Sunnyside), but I do agree that it is a soft 3-1.  Here are their games:

KIPP Sunnyside - (W) 41-0

San Antonio St. Mary's Hall (TAPPS DII) - (W) 27-14

Houston Lutheran South (TAPPS DII) - (W) 33-10

Midland Christian (TAPPS DII) - (L) 42-14

Yea, I think that a what he was in reference to..  those games were to the caliber of playing KIPP...

Yes, Reggie Garrett collapsed on the sidelines, right after throwing a TD pass. The young man from Shadow Creek (Chase Lightfoot) collapsed on the field, but actually died in the hospital hours later.
