Last time a district sweep?

Anyone remember a district like 24-4A Baseball sweeping in bi-district in any sport?

21-4A (who 24-4A plays this week) just swept their opponents.

But locally, a few years ago Silsbee, HJ, WO-S and HF swept their opponents in basketball.

I think a couple of years ago, 21-5a swept 22-5a in football.

The good and the bad of another sweep.... It would be awesome to show how strong our district is but then our 4 teams would have to play each other to advance.  GO 24-4A!!!!!!!!!!!!

the local districts have swept the first round (not always the same district) many times

have the local teams ever been swept?  I find no evidence of that anywhere.

Don't think the 1997 playoff results above are entirely correct....Silsbee did not make the playoffs that year and new Cagney was not in their district...I believe they only took 2 teams that year and it was Jasper and HJ

LCM beat Silsbee at Lamar University in 1997. Beau Hale pitched and hit his first home run of the year in that game.  Saw it with my own eyes.

 I know Silsbee did not make the playoffs in 1997...HJ beat them to go to the playoffs....jasper finished first and HJ finished 2nd.....don't think 3 teams made the playoffs that year and I know for a fact new caney was not in that district

2016 Silsbee, bc, lcm, wos swept Huffman, liberty, splendora, tarkington

This is the only year where all 4 games matched teams from just two districts where there was a sweep.  The 3 team years had a mixture of districts playing each other and the district champs had byes in most cases.

Navasota has never been in a district with Liberty... In 2003, D23 Navasota  beat D24 Giddings then lost to D22 Barber's Hill.

Silsbee did go to the playoffs in 1997 and lost to LCM at Lamar 7-4.

No just guarantees we will have 2 teams in the regional semi finals.  BC/WOS winner will face Hudson,or  Robinson Silsbee, LCM winner will face Jasper, Or Carthage.

Add in Jasper and Hudson and 6 of 8 teams are here pretty close to home.
