Dayton @ Fort Bend Elkins

`Don't like playing these 5a teams to  big a risk factor for injuries were to young and our depth is never our strength. If we don't get blown out and show some improvment I'll be happy ! ( we beat them last year ) I'm just glad we don't have to play the Mexican National Champion like BH !

Since we won last year they are the ones playing the Mexican National Champion ;D Goodluck! No idea how this game will turn out.... Fort Bend  is picked to place 5th in thier district and return 4 and 4 from last years 4-6 team.. They do return thier QB from last year that has some pretty good stats......

Dayton fans need to quit whining.  So much complaining about who needs to play where.  Kind of silly.  You have a qb that's taking his first varsity snaps against two very good programs and all of a sudden the sky is falling.  Patience is a virtue.  Give the kids some time and let them develop. Scrimmages are for trying different players at different positions and getting reps in.  I'm glad Dayton didn't schedule powder puff opponents at the beginning of the season.  I would rather see a team struggle early on against solid competition and shine during district than fool everyone at the start and crumble later.

Rant over.

agreed. Lots of youth out there for the Broncos. There is some talent with that though. When they get comfortable out there and the talent comes through, folks will change their tune.... like always. I think this team has a pretty high ceiling with what they can do this year... the Nederland scrimmage didn't change that for me.

After watching the Elkins vs bellaire scrimmage just now, I'm going to say by alot!  ;)
are you saying Elkins by a lot. If so please don't base it on what you saw at a scrimmage. I do think Elkins will be tough but don't think it will be a blowout.

Dayton  can win this game. FBE isn't some powerhouse.. they went 4-6 and return 8 from last years team.
i think they can beat Elkins to. But you have to look no further than a&m and the nfl to see that Elkins has athletes. Now I'm not going to say they are a powerhouse like lumberton but they have talent.

Broncos will be fine, Gird up your loins Bronco fans, it might be rough for a while but we will make the playoffs. The kids we are talking about are good and some will be great athletes. They are well coached and things will look different in a few weeks.

All you Bronco coaching experts should remember the young men who work hard all year to be on that field. Mind your words, they read this stuff.
