Quite comical if you ask me. The Jag newbies are predicting a win because "we have a coach and weapons". I think Friday night is going to take FOREVER to get here. I'm going to the athletic office for my tickets AS SOON AS I drop Thalilghost to school in the morning.
Do you want to know what 'comical' is?  Comical is our coaching staff from the last 3 years...  Comical is how prior to 3 years ago, everyone was saying X Box Kenny and after a couple of years of good football, the Port Arthur faithful has deja vu now.
Not everyone referred to him by that name. (Speaking of  thaghost) Secondly, that post was for the Jag "newbies",not quite sure an buzzard such as yourself can qualify for that.

I don't care how you slice a pie it's still pie! Memorial has too many holes too fill in their running game and need of additional receivers! Central has talent coming out of the wood works and if their coaches can decipline them and put the right people at the right positions, that in it's self will give P.A. problems! Just be glad all of BMT kids aren't in the same school! There would be no need for a prediction or even a game! Lol, seriously though, I say Central by 14!  ;)
Wait a minute, are you telling me that the 5,318 students combined for the three Beaumont schools could easily handle the 2,460 students for PAM?

Great call.

I wonder if you combined Nederland, PNG and PAM for a total of 5,320 students how the "Beaumont" school would do.

Just sayin'.................

I guess I was thinking back to when both Bmt and PA had 3 public schools.  BCP, Forest Park and French vs TJ, Lincoln and SFA (and TJ and Lincoln were both 5A for a while)
Forget about enrollment that is made up of mostly non-athletes, those 6 schools had about the same # of athletes playing football.  So what happened?

hey soulja, that's the difference with PAM and "other" schools in the area, talking about tony brown calling people out. the "old" PAM would have made probably went out there, made him look silly and a fight would have ensued. the well coached players went into the locker room as a "team". tony brown didn't help them last year ijs...

it's alot of jag fans popping up lol...i know for a fact soulja was/is a true fan...big ford is part time. mama jag is a fair weather.

What exactly does "yester-year" have to do with PAM vs Central 2013? Guess I missed the point.

I simply commented on the comparison between BISD 5K and PAM 2400 comment.  Nowhere did I mention anything about dominance over former PA schools.  I think the PA schools were a lot more dominant before they merged into PAM.  That's because kids/families had pride in their schools and where they were from.  Same reason Hebert, French and others were so good.  Few people have loyalty to their programs anymore.  They leave PA to play at Ned or PNG.  They leave WB or Ozen to play at Kelly.  They go wherever the grass looks greener.

But back on topic, Central will whip PAM this friday.  And they are going to do it with a lot less kids in their high school.  ;D
Thats all I was trying to say earlier... I mean a few years ago during BC's 8-4 season (their best in the past 3)... PAM beat that team what? 30-0 or something like that. I mean maybe BC ready this year, but I would have to see it first.

you miss a lot when youre at work! dang..lol.. but let me clarify this.. been a jag fan since a young kid... even played for them 2 yrs... so as far as being a newbie n jag fans popping.. try that with someone else, you have a lot of jag fans that don't know about this website nor have the adequate time to be on here, so kill that noise!... & you need coaches! all this "coaches aint catching passes or running the ball" etc. is for the birds(no disrespect).. but if you've watched ALL OF CENTRAL GAMES THE PAST YRS.. its been because of bad play calling at the wrong time.. so now since we have a new coach with some athletes.. everything SHOULD BE BETTER for Central.. I hope to meet some of you guys in person...

not saying that! because to me scrimmages don't determine the outcome of a regular season game... matchups they fit well with each other... size and speed... this will be a great game to start off the 2013 football season.. if central secondary play well its going to add to the greatness of the game.. memorial has a nice WR group! (cant take that from them)..

Hey "mighymouse" spell your name correctly then get at me about being a part-time Jaguar fan. Well maybe if you stop hiding behind some screen name and use part of your real one, you "might" (I'll give you a little help, you forgot the "t") be able to spell that one correctly... 8)
