1. I know for a fact that the coaches like the Athletic Director.
 2. Your welcome Buna. The Tambourine man don’t play around.
 3. Hardin seems to be much improved on both sides of the ball. It'll be exciting to see how they do this week. P.S. Any statement that starts with, "I don't mean to take anything away from..." does just that. Liberty should have done much better than they did against Hardin. That said, it's just a scrimmage but I got the feeling liberty wanted to make a much better showing than they did.
 4. Hardin looked better than last week in my opinion, offense looked pretty good and did well against Liberty's starting defense. Defense looked better as well tackling has to improve, its a matter of effort when you are tired. They know how just seem to slack off as they play. Liberty exposed some blown secondary assignments early on. That'll improve with more reps and film time.Overall Hardin improved in one week, looking forward to next weeks game.
 5. Broncos will be fine, Gird up your loins Bronco fans, it might be rough for a while but we will make the playoffs. The kids we are talking about are good and some will be great athletes. They are well coached and things will look different in a few weeks. All you Bronco coaching experts should remember the young men who work hard all year to be on that field. Mind your words, they read this stuff.
Did Dayton get a qb transfer from some school in Louisiana.?
Yes.  I remember that transfer Comming in for an injured Cody Green and put up some unreal numbers by season's end...
Yep, Gregory Charles, he went on to play and get his degree a Grandview University in Iowa. Great kid, I wish we always had one of those waiting to see the field.
 7.
Dayton was 9-2 with their 2 losses against 2 of the top 10 teams in the state. For most teams that would be a great season. That was also with almost all our skill position players being sophmores. I just dont see a drop off this year. Not to mention dayton will have the best nose guard they have had in several years which is very important with the 4-3 they run.
I am looking forward to seeing this young team play this year and I hope they do like I think they will. The offense should be a little saltier than last year. New QB means different tempo and attitude, we will do fine.
 8. Play every sport you enjoy, 99.9% never "make it to the big time", specializing or not. If you don't go pro then you missed out on a lot of fun for nothing.
 9.
Briles has said publicly he doesn't plan on leaving soon. And also I hope Sharp isn't mad because Baylor offered after he won state every offer the kid gets from here on out will be after he won state. The kid only has 4-6 offers so it wouldnt be smart to be to nit-picky obviously he's a great ball player and athlete but looking at Briles track record with QBs he won't lose sleep if the kid doesn't jump on the offer, he'll just find another QB to put up insane #'s. Briles has Baylor as a top 25 team. If Sharp went there Briles would put him in the NFL
I agree, I hope Sharp picks Baylor, Briles is the real deal.

These families are from the Sheldon area and I had fun watching and coaching the Dads in Little Leagues.Enjoyed watching several games this last year as both boys had tremendous years.
OILERS!!!
 11.

Not true,we alright was 9-0 till SC game.Yes we had some player/coach related issues alright late in the season.Played Ned fair considering the troubles.Broncos will compete again this year w/the youngest group I can remember. The 2012 jv & awesome 9th grade group will shore things up in 2013.Mark it down somewhere 2014 we going deep and you heard it right here ;)
I don't doubt that, I'm just saying Hancock won't dominate the district like Stewart did. There's no flexibility in the playcalling like there used to be. Stewart could adjust on the fly where Hancock uses what I call the novicane approach which is "give it time and it'll work". Crosby has three stud qbs coming through the pipeline too.
Stewart's run was impressive, but as far as Crosby is concerned nothing has changed. Like you said Hancock is 2-0 against the Cougars. If Crosby plans on beating Dayton in the near future their best chance will be this year, while they have Senior twins. We will be young but talented, with a much needed QB change. I understand that your angst for Dayton won't allow you to be objective, this probably wasn't worth saying.
 12.
I really don't believe it's for Athletic reasons......I believe they moved in the area, and yes it's a legit transfer. I believe there is always a spot for a kid like that on ANY team
That's good, I'm glad that is the case. But, like I said if I was in his shoes or his parents(@King), I would make the move if I could.
 13.
Kids and unfortunately their parents are GENERALLY not educated about supplements. Many times the kids ( parents $$) wind up buying items that they don't need and spend in excess...these supplements aren't cheap. If the athlete would just follow a sound meal plan, it would eliminate the need for the costly supplements.
Well said, I have spent a lot of money on supplements for my boys with no results. They are both doing good now but a good diet is the key. The problem with most shakes is they can't eat full meals because of the quantity of the shakes they were drinking. We found a high protein shake through Zija that isn't near as filling and they still eat full healthy meals and we are seeing good results. But, it ain't cheap.
