Kings game is not throwing, if they are behind much its going to be tough coming back. Kinda reminds me of Texas city last night at Crosby. I wish i would have seen Atascocita with their injured quarterback, he definitely looks the part of an athlete and leader as he’s constantly coaching up the sophomore. 

Six minutes before half, King scored a touchdown to tie Atascocita 14-14 and had momentum. Then two King turnovers and 21 Atascocita points before half turned a close game into a semi blowout. Atascocita starting quarterback #7 is on crutches with a knee brace.

The last opportunity Crosby had to finish as undefeated district champions was 2017. We were 9-0 and heavily favored and lost at home to New Caney 63-38. More impactful part was that loss dropping us into the D2 #2 seed which set up the 72-69 loss to PNG in bi-district. 
 
Nederland always matches up well with Crosby. They usually have just enough personnel wise and play at that slower pace that seems to complicate things for the Cougars. Crosby has been the best team in 12-5A-D2 all year and has a chance to finish off their most impressive run through district play that I can remember. Ned is trying to prove they’re the best team in the district at the end of the year. This is exactly where both teams were hoping to be when the season started. 

Oh my goodness, Saturday night and I was fixing to get back my biography of Churchill and I thought I need to check out setx just to congratulate Coach Carter and them Patriots when I saw the Crosby score, and wow, and knew the trash talking would start🧐, Crosby 14.2 primed as usual, better than the original SNL, yes I am old, keep it up men, love the ingenuity!

Defense in Crosby !! Is it the Coordinator from Baytown Jackson Tar or Secondary coach Lucas Shields.I've noticed a couple familiar name that was there on defense from almost 10 years ago when defense was very questionable.Great to see a turnaround from giving up 52 to Montgomery to o to Dayton and 7 to Barbers hill.I see the 2nd teamers got some playing time which will bode well for next seasons.Questions for Cougar14.2 ~ What happen to Sagastegui who was penciled in as a starter on the offensive line? Did Jaden Fields move away? And What's the status of Brian Samuel ? Since I live in Friendswood,I will see the Cougars play Texas City next Week. I know KP isn’t a good football team but this is what you should do to a not good football team. Other than a one, what seemed to be to me a complacency lapse, the defense has played well. Still interested in seeing how we’re going to manufacture rushing yards against some of the better fronts we could possibly see in the playoffs.

A Kicker,QB and WR, just to name a few. A kicker who scored all of Daytons points vs a good PNG team to get a playoff win. Hispanic is not the reason why Dayton is down were down because the program has been trashed for 8 yrs. by sub par and incompetent coaching since Steward left. Our new coach can't change that over night give him some time and he's going to right the ship he's a good man and coach.

I’d say talent IS a big factor. It takes special talent for deep playoff runs, which we’re probably a little short on, but I believe there is plenty there to be competitive. I realize I’m in the minority there, but even teams with a downturn in talent can execute and compete. I don’t have the answer for why that hasn’t happened. I just don’t believe “illegals” are the root of it.

Funny that one of the winningest coaches in Texas, Phil Danaher has proven this theory wrong, Refugio anyone, sounds more like an EXCUSE. Always blame kids to protect the coach. I saw it as a player in 70’s and now for 35 years as a coach. Why do we always make keep putting the responsible game on players and not adults, asking for another coaching friend. Guess I am sounding more like 14.2 that is often correct. Speck in another’s eye doesn’t compare to the log in mine.

True but if you check state semis when la marque would play danahers team, the state champs scored in the last minutes to go ahead of his region 4 team. I was at two of those games. Anyone taking la marque to the end like that shows great teams no matter the culture.

I don’t think it’s the ability to decipher charts and graphs.  The question is if you believe the data and a corrupt media.  Not everyone does.

Since no virus can be seen, virologists check often for antibodies produced to serve as evidence for presence OR former presence as some virus experts say that if you had a flu shot the past ten years. There is a test for existence of viruses called Koch's Postulate that is a systematic testing to isolate the virus for proven existence. It was NEVER done for this--some experts were besides themselves, yet their rants were hidden by the media, kinda like the Stanford professor, Noble Prize winner for Chemistry has been CRITICAL of the lockdown and everything dealing with this Corona thing. Google, Facebook, and twitter have basically deleted all of his objections.   THE PURPOSE of my post here is that IF all school districts would test all their football players, band members -all fall participants, there would be a lot of positive results--kids sick--NO, but positive results and everything would shut down. Why because we are reacting out of media driven emotion instead of logical interpretation. The reason Europe is doing so much now is NOT because everyone wore a mask, but because they understand the definition of case AND they do not have an impending election. Could i be wrong, yes, in my 34 years of coaching i have been wrong a lot and i have gotten better cause i corrected my mistakes. I first look at the log in my eye rather than the speck in my players cause i have control over who plays. Sorry for the long rant but i have been off social media and computer since about 3-29-20. I have a little time now in between virtual teaching , so i thought i would visit the old SE Texas football forum before i make my move to southern Montgomery County. Ya'll take care and hopefully we get to play ball.
