I would like to say congratulations Bulldogs on a great season and an excellent game. So sorry so many of your players were injured. May have been a different game. Don’t much care for running score up but in defense of our team the second string was in and everyone heard how y’all always make a big comeback I believe the coach was afraid to take a chance. I’m sure the Bulldogs will make noise in the playoffs next year! Everyone please be careful on their trip home!

From the Maverick Family to the Bulldog Family Happy Thanksgiving!

To all the Bulldog fans I read all this talk about hurt player and such about mismatched and how on paper Marshall is the favorite, but how Marshall better not think it will be easy. I get tickled with all that talk. Trust me when I say Marshall players don’t fall into that pit. They take everyone as if they are the top team in 5A. They are always given a very good game plan and they execute it as Coach Mathis has planned it. Coach Mathis would never allow his team to take anyone lightly. You guys didn’t get to 10-1 without being a good team. Looking forward to a great game! Go Mavericks!

Hello Nederland Bulldogs we are looking forward to a great football game between the Mavericks and Bulldogs. It is always great to play a team we have never seen before, I hope your team is as healthy as can be expected this time of year. Marshall always wants the best you can field! Win or lose we both should be proud because right now many teams are finished for the season. The Mavs have a great fan base but I’m afraid this game being at 4pm on a Friday and 4 hours away will not allow so many to attend. I assure that Coach Mathis will have the team fired up for a great game. Good luck to the Bulldogs and we pray that everyone coming from you town has a safe journey to and from NRG Stadium!
