Last year PAM beat the brakes off of my Indians, 6 or 7 turnovers in that game. You cant win a game when you turnover the ball like that. I don't put much on rankings, but there is no way PNG should be ranked #6 respectively in the state. We lost 35 seniors from last year. but this is their second year in the system so i don't think it will be that ugly. but the qb this year isn't scared to get hit and doesn't fold under pressure so it should be fun game to watch.  besides the heat, i can't wait to go watch this anticipated game. you can't beat the hype of this game, glad that PAM is back on the schedule hate having to drive allover god's creation to play a Non district game, And beating up on Silsbee every year was getting old. Although the tigers have some serious firepower the last couple of years. glad we just a few weeks away lol.

Only if they sell them in your concessions stand lol. Since the shalacking  from yall gave us last year and the first fort bend marshall loss, i really didnt have to bring out my wonderful personality the rest of the year lol.  its like a breath of fresh air actually having a defense now.. 

just to let you know, we lost our starting running back early in the season he was a beast. but the lil running back you saw tearing up defenses all thru the playoffs wasn't even the starter. Like you said though you cant say what woulda shoulda coulda happened with them LH not having their starting rbs. If we would have had Tommy there isn't any telling what woulda shoulda coulda could have happened. regardless it's in the past. that season is over. Now it is time for the coaching staff and new starters and second teamers that are getting their chance to shine. I don't put much stock into rankings, losing 37 seniors I don't think Png should be ranked even close to the top 10 but that's me. But now that we have a coaching staff that has a real defensive coordinator and a proven background, I like our chances against any team in our district and once playoffs start anything can happen as you saw last year. but then again maybe we don't make the playoffs but doubt that seriously.

Preface: I live a stone's throw from Liberty Hill these days and spend a lot of time there. The day PN-G and Liberty Hill played last season, I threw on my PN-G gear and stopped at the Liberty Hill Dairy Queen for lunch before hitting the road to Katy. I respect everything the Panther program has accomplished. By no means should this post be construed as me downplaying their success.
It's asinine to reduce PN-G to "a good story" and suggest the Indians haven't shown longevity comparable to Liberty Hill's when, over the last ten seasons, the Indians have won 71% of their games, finished four seasons with ten or more wins and finished the season in the third round of the playoffs or higher five times. Keep in mind that one of those ten win seasons occurred despite a game cancellation caused by Hurricane Harvey.
Granted, Liberty Hill sports a better playoff record and a higher win percentage (79%) over the same time period. Liberty Hill was also 4ADI for seven of those ten seasons; didn't contend with three hurricanes, record-shattering rainfall from a fourth tropical cyclone, undue humiliation wrought by undeserved national media hysteria and a major industrial explosion during that period; and plays in a generally weaker region than PN-G. Liberty Hill is also a fast-growing and much more affluent community than anywhere in Southeast Texas, and has been showering its school district with extravagant resources for well over a decade. A recent former Liberty Hill school board member told me last year that roughly half of LHISD students today have out-of-state birth certificates.
If we're going to bring longevity into the argument, let's account for the wildly disparate levels of adversity. There's more to this game than the surface-level numbers. Put the two teams on the same football field and I'll take the purple and white over the purple and gold any damn day of the week.

After watching 5 SOC games I really think PNG should win this game. There are certain areas of the SOC defense that can be exploited bad. PNG has the personnel to do just that. Now I'm sure the coaches have seen it I will not elaborate on it. PNG is the best team. I have been asked by multiple people on this board to give my advise on previous game and everything I have said has come true with the only difference being the total outcome of the score with Liberty Hill (PNG won bigger than I anticipated). The defense did exactly what I said and honestly the outcome could have been worse. Now SOC I do not believe they have seen the front 7 defensively or the power of the offensive line. There are a couple formations and plays the SOC cannot defend by looking at film. I am not going to expose them yet. But don't be surprised if you see a new formation in the backfield for 70%of the plays. They are not as good as advertised in 1 on 1 coverage, however they will catch you from behind.  The coaches from PNG I am sure have seen what I have and to be honest it would not surprise me to see PNG win by 2 plus scores.

The Indians are on cruise control till playoff time, I know it sucks that Ned is having coaching issues and kids quitting. Hoping weather isn't as bad as they say it is lol. PNGs Wr Coach Mr. GIZZI has done a great job with the Wide Receivers. They all are capable of the big play everytime they snap the ball. Defense getting the starting line backers back, seconds striggers did an awesome job filling in and putting in work. They are Def tackling and swarming the ball, but do still find a way to let the other team score even as bad as Sante Fe is they got a gift from the football gods on a bomb for their only score. If PNGs Defense comes in playing like they have been Ned will be in trouble. We have got to play turnover free ball, we do that we win going away. We have plenty of kids that can run the rock. Hopefully Crippen continues to stay in the pocket where he's most dangerous, I close my eyes when he scrambles,that is when he throws the picks. No offense to Ned but this should and prob will be ugly. Scalpem

I hope he does, he did well till he coughed up the ball on his last carry. I'm excited to see him get more touches. He has big shoes to fill lol 😆 we have been waiting along time to see him play!!!

Well we shall see next week, seems like Dayton is rolling under their  new coaching staff. But playing the bottom feeders will inflate the ego. But I have seen stranger things happen. We have alot of injuries right now beat up pretty good but battle tested and ready to go. Hopefully after we beat Willoridge we will have no injuries and our players coming back healthy, if not the backups will just have to continue what they started and play hard nosed football. I am eager to see Dayton come next week. Hope the weather continues to stay perfect.

Special teams killed us from jumpstreet this past week. Defense made the stop and we give it right back to them on a turnover. That fumble ruined our momentum right off the bat. It was a bad decision should have let the ball go!. You can't give great teams second chances to capitalize off of easy turnovers and awesome field position.  Hopefully we bounce back and get our ducks in a row!!! Weather should be alot better than what we had Saturday I look like a sunburned albino 😆
