  1. Always tough to win at HD. In the history of the rivalry, Hardin has only won there 3 times. All time series (8 - 45)
  2. No HDBobcats55 ? We need an update on this scrimmage. How's the Hodge squad lookin ?
  3. He didn't say schools. He said "school" LOL

  5. Still have a long way to go, but percentages speak to (less than two rounds)
  6. hardin scored 2 or 3 times in first offensive set and then 1 x in the live quarter Deweyville had some good drives but did not reach the endzone. good luck to the pirates this season.
  7. was told this was a lopsided scrimmage in favor of liberty.....but not sure of details.
  8. ^^^^^^^^ +100000000000000000000000
  9. Man.......y'all both got me fired up for football season. Is it week 0 yet ?
  10. the only question that remains is..........which color horse, lol
  11. Deweyville at Hardin JV starts at 5 pm Varsity should start around 6pm
  12. I know about them white boys. Lol I just like La Vega this year. Maybe because they took down my Bulldogs, but nevertheless.....
  13. And Newton/Silsbee are right there with WO-S......and stocks are on the rise.
  14. It's not that I am looking for a gripe. I just hate to see any program in our area left out of the conversation. It's the common denominator being from Lib. county and has become quite apparent that no immediate change is upcoming. The dialogues I have had with Houston area folk are that BMT is it's own entity and BMT folks have obligations to cover their viewing area and feel the same way about the Houston folk. Yes, sometimes I go overboard with the whole geographical location of what is truly SETX, but it's merely a point I wish most would consider when speaking to this very large community. DFW goes to the extreme at claiming their own and we' have that big arse wall on I-10 just inside Baytown that says "Nobody beyond this point" Obviously UIL made this a little interesting this past alignment because now this site is covering so many schools now, even outside the box than I consider SETX but that's the card that's been dealt. I should prolly just keep my lid shut, but do know it's from a genuine place of desiring our region to be premier in the state and get the recognition that's due.......I'm tired of hearing those boys up north dog Htown-GT and outlying areas. With the Htown take over here of late, including WO-S....the tables have turned and I think it will stay that way for quite some time in Texas HS football relevance.
  15. La Vega would stump a hole in Argyle, imo. Grad is $ on that.
  16. I am keeping a close eye on Bridge City this year. Got a feelin' they are gonna turn some heads.
  17. I know some, too. Ashamed? I have been playing out there for 20 years. If they chose to put me in the 5th or the 1st, that's up to them. I won the 2nd flight by 4 strokes and finished 1 out of the money in the 1st. Keep trying.
  18. Because they are idiots. Just like the one guy for the Chron last year that was trying to take credit for WO-S as SETX and not ONE person the entire year mentioned or covered them up until the state game. The beef between Houston and Beaumont is real, Lol.
  19. Seen you loaded up on the beer out there chief. I drank plenty of it this weekend too, in route to that first place finish in the 3rd flight.
  20. They can call it whatever they want and I can have an opinion on it. Don't get butt hurt over everything I say, Todd. It's going to be alright.
