Isn’t the thread for us to talk a little friendly smack talk? We can talk all we want, the kids are the ones doing the playing. With that being said, I don’t think the game will be close as people think. Maybe from the start, but y’all sent us home last year. We didn’t forget that. That also had to be the most undisciplined team we’ve fielded in a longgggggg time. This year will be different. We’re well balanced and our depth is crazy in the skill position. We’re peaking just when we need to. It’s a home game for both teams but we’ll pull it out by 2Tds+. Go Mustangs!

WOS is much better than last year and the kids are so much more bought in. The only loss on the schedule is due to their 4 turnovers in one half. We’re peaking at the right time. Limit all the turnovers and we’ll be pretty darn tough to beat for anybody.

Not saying the outcome would've been any different, but we were also playing 6 players meanwhile Silsbee were at least 12-15 deep which is surprisingly a lot for a 4a team. We were bound to run out of gas or get into foul trouble, and Silsbee was bound to go on one of them Tiger runs. We've been short handed all year. We could've beat Lumberton if our 3 year starting PG #3 Wiley would've played, but for some odd reason he is no longer with us. Just hope we can go out and compete for 4 full quarters.

That JV group is TOUGH and pretty big. The 8th grade group coming will be a force to reckon with. Those kids are big , fast and strong. Almost seem ahead of their time.We’ll be much better this year.

All in all our boys played one hell of a game, especially for us only having 7 players. Silsbee was everything as avertised. We had them on their heels pretty much the whole first half, then fatigue took its toll.

Such a stupid and sloppy way to determine who will advance IMO. But oh well, got to deal with the conditions and circumstances you’re dealt with I guess.....

Key word in that statement, FIRST TIME. You guys have a nice set of backs but there won’t be all those missed tackles we were doing last time. You will have to break several before you get to open field.

One off a trick play and the other off us not lining up right. We’ll have all those mistakes corrected and DARE you to throw the ball. Ross and Rose have stepped up their game in these playoffs playing almost lights out. We KNOW what Teel can do. He’s licking his chops daring you to throw his way.

In order to beat us at this point in the year, you have to be a serious threat to pass through the air. Not just a few passes but you HAVE to be able to legitimately throw us off balance. I most definitely don’t think Silsbee can do that to us. (I may be wrong) In all honesty , I think we win by 2tds+. I just don’t see that famous dive or stretch beating us.

On topic. Talk this week’s game not years ago. With that being said Texan Drive is pretty much like our home stadium in the playoffs. We love it there. Days go by and I feel more confident that we’ll pull this out. We’re clicking and peaking at the right time.

We don’t look past no one. I’m sure Coach T will be driving that into their head all week and for some reason, the players from both sides take THIS game in particular to be very personal. We’ll come out even more hyped than the Jasper game. Why would we want to lose to Silsbee and give them bragging rights for them to be talking about football and basketball? No sir we want to destroy y’all lol.
