  1. I'm sure you'll be there too. Good luck as well.
  2. Great game by everyone. Just remember when district is over we all are fighting for the same goal.
  3. I'm a Vidor fan and must say that the Raider fans to me seemed like a loyal group. Even when the score was out of hand the visiting side of Raider fans still had a large group. As a long time Pirate fan I've set through many beating and it takes a loyal fan base to sit through a season worth of defeats so kuddos to the Raider nation and I'm pulling for you guys to take one or both of these last two games.  Good luck Raiders!
  4. I just wanted to say I was impressed with the Lumberton fan support.  I was also impressed with several members of the team.  As I was leaving I shook hands with several of the players from Lumberton and they were all cordial nice young men.  I wish Lumberton good luck for the rest of their season.
  5. Not sure what you mean by a tainted view but it is nice to have individuals on these forums who can see and appreciate good teams and give credit where credit is due.  You have a good football team.  Vidor has a good football team.  Central is improving each week so my comment is one of support for Central and a respect for an individual who has shown the same respect for other good teams.
  6. BMTSoulja1, I have wanted to tell you for a while now, I really respect your views.  I appreciate your fairness and your perspective on the local football scene.  As a Vidor fan, I love playing Central because it is always such a exciting, well played game.  With that said, I wish your Jaguars all the best tonight against Nederland.  Good Luck.
  7. I believe PNG will win this one but don't be surprised if Lumberton sneaks up and steals one.  Yes Lumberton is rebuilding and is 0-5 but they can make some plays so assuming the Indians play the full 48 they should win this game in a close contest.
  8. My father taught me a lesson I've never forgotten.  In all the lean years Vidor has had, we never left a game until all the time was off the clock.  He always said, if the boys are out there on the field, we will be in the stands.  A true fan does not quit on their team when they are winning big or loosing big.  A true fan will always stay till the end.
  9. Regarding all the speed statements, speed on a track does not equate to speed on the football field.  Just look at the number of NFL wide receivers that were suppose to be great because they were track stars and they never panned out.  Some of this trash talk is acceptable, most of it is childish banter.  On any given night in 20-4A anything can happen.  Lumberton will win and they will shock someone, that is a guarantee.  So, let's let the boys fight it out on the field and pray for a safe game.  Regardless, it will be a good game as most Vidor /Ozen games have been over the years.
  10. Lumberton is a good 0-5 team.  They will be a spoiler to somebody this year.  Great game to watch.  Way to go Pirates and keep your heads up Raiders.
  11. Honestly people, some of this back and forth on this board is beyond juvenile.  Just let the boys play the game, let the fans enjoy the game and support the players for each team win or lose and hope for a safe, injury free game.  So let's get ready and play some FOOTBALL!!!!  ;)
