  3. The Lady Tigers move to 15-0 with a 15-0 victory over the Burkeville Lady Mustangs tonight. Will take on the Woden Lady Eagles on 3/16, the only team to defeat them in district back in 2019.
  4. The ladies are currently ranked #47 in the nation by Maxpreps, #19 in Texas(1A-6A), #7 in Region 3 in TX (1A-6A). Their next contest is vs. Burkeville at Pineland tomorrow night(3/12)followed by Woden @ Woden on 3/16. As of 3/9 they have scored 176 runs while allowing 15 in 14 contests.
  5. The ladies sweep a doubleheader from Broaddus in impressive fashion 16-0(Gm. 1) and 19-1(Gm.2). Cora Sepulvado left the yard in game one while Haley Primrose launched and absolute bomb in the nightcap to give the ladies 10 HR on the season. They also had 7 triples in the two games. In 14 games now they have allowed 15 runs while scoring a staggering 171. If anyone ever gets the chance to see these ladies play, do it. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed...
  6. They play in Broaddus Tuesday night(3/9) and at Pineland(3/12)
  7. The ladies would defeat the #12 Groveton Lady Indians today 12-1 behind another strong game from Haley Primrose, who not only threw a complete game four hit gem striking out 11(56K in 28IP) but also finished 4-4 at the dish with 3RBI. The nightcap saw a game Center squad jump out on the ladies 2-0, but they chipped away with runs in the 1st and 4th to tie it at 2. While Center would go ahead 3-2 in the fifth, once again the ladies rallied for three scores, with the big blow being a two run single from Cora Sepulvado to seal the 5-3 victory.
  8. The ladies move to 10-0 with a 13-4 victory over Grapeland this morning and a 12-2 victory over Hemphill. Twenty hits total in both games, including another two HR (Primrose(6) vs Grapeland, a two run shot and Frick(2) vs. Hemphill, a grand slam). Outscored opponents 119-10 in 10 games so far. Frick fanned five in two innings work vs Grapeland, allowing 4 runs on 3 hits, all by SS Lecutte. Primrose was dominant in the nightcap, hurling five innings allowing two runs on two hits while fanning ten. Aryane Merrill drove in two for the Lady Hornets on a fifth inning 2B.

  14. Currently 8-0 and #5 in the state and rising. If not for Covid last year we would’ve seen this last year. A potentially special bunch in Pineland...
  15. Outscored opposition 99-4 through 8 games, pitching staff has an 0.13 ERA and have 6HR as a team(with 20+ XBH overall)5 by Haley Primrose, who also has 35K and just 2BB in 17IP. No drop off one through three in the rotation(Primrose, Emma Frick and Cora Sepulvado)and 1-9 can sting you in the lineup. I feel this is what we would’ve seen last year if not for Covid 19. Will keep you posted, might even start a link. These girls are a potentially special bunch... Have a good one, Si!
