Bearkats played a pretty good game against No. 5 Kentucky. Lost 102-92, but kept it fairly close for the majority of the game behind a great 3-point shooting night. Corey Almond for Sam hit 11 three's, a Rupp Arena record en rout to a 37-point night. All told I think SHSU hit 18 triples. A 10 point loss to the No. 5 team in the country isn't too bad.

Kentucky beat Miami ohio by 2. Kentucky is not a top 25 team.

I watched some of that game on tv.  SHSU was hot from the outside, especially in the first half, where I think they made 8 or 13 3-pointers.  SHSU trailed by 15 to 20 most of the 2nd half, but it was a respectable score.

I'll agree with you that they are NOT a top 5 or 10 team, but Top 25, yes. They are very young and talented and will be relevant late in the year. Top 5 ranking is ridiculous though.

Very true.  Last year LU was just awful, this year they will be better.  Miles is already shooting better from the outside.

All Roc needs to do is make them shoot 50 3's a day after practice.
