How come your website says you guys are holding tryouts at A&M Consolidated campus on August 27?  I"m sure this is because you guys used to be located there, but the date scares me.  That means that less than 2 months ago you guys were planning on operating there and for some reason had to relocate to Beaumont.  We really want some type of semi-pro football here, but this area is tired of poorly run franchises.  We've gone through the drillers and the demons, we've had enough.  Let us knwo you are for real.

The team is in the process of changing over information for the website and I would agree that its moving pretty slow at this time. The contract to play at Ford Park has been reveiwed and signed. The reseaoning behind moving the team was soley due to the fact that the arena was not suitable for the league (SIFL). I would also agree that the Golden Triangle is deserving of a football team they can call there own. We are not a semi-pro football team, we are a Professional Indoor Football Team and we hope to make the Golden Triangle prode to call us their own.
The team was actually purchased towards the end of last season by a business owner from Houston and he came in and re-staffed it totally. The roster made a 180 turn with the addition of Michael Bishop (QB at Kansas State/NFL/AFL). We will be looking to sign quality players for the 2010 season from the area along with outside talent to help bring a Championship to the Golden Triangle. We are also looking for quality volunteer coaches in the area for some Professional experience. Our first tryout scheduled for Nov. 15th and look to schedule another after the turn of the year.

Wait a minute, are you saying that Michael Bishop will be playing for this team?  That is a very good sign!

Michael Bishop played for the team in the last four games and may be coming back. There were also a couple of former AFL players on team as well
