The Clear Lake Fencing Club will host the 11th annual Fete de Lune veterans' fencing tournament on Saturday, August 22nd, in the gym of the Clear Lake Church of Christ at 938 El Dorado Blvd. The term "veterans" means that all competitors must be 40 years of age or older. Competitions will be held in foil, epee and sabre.
Competitors from San Francisco, New Orleans, Dallas and San Antonio have registered as of this writing.
Spectators are admitted free of charge.
The first events, mixed foil and women's foil will begin at 9:00 AM. The various events should continue all day until about 6PM.
